Our appointment schedule is computerized, allowing us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our abilities. A staff member will open the clinic doors as early as 7:30 AM for drop-off patients.
Making an appointment in advance will ensure that you and your pet will be seen with minimal wait time. We will work walk-ins into the schedule as possible.
Emergencies are accepted any time our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call the hospital first to let us know that you are on your way. A staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and support staff on duty five days a week. They are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care need for your pet. An emergency team consists of a veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be events such as rat poisoning, chocolate ingestion, or car accidents. If you feel your pets needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call immediately.
We are also available for urgent care if the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our staff will work to squeeze you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an idea how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Sayers Animal Hospital operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes owners to be with their pet during most medical procedures, whether it’s a simple vaccination or a complete exam.
Payments are due at the time of the service. Sayers Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, and credit card (except American Express).
We also accept Care Credit and can assist you in applying right in the clinic, or you may go to carecredit.com. Another payment method is Scratchpay, where you can pay your veterinary expense over time. Please visit scratchpay.com for more information.
